Sa isang Iglap

Minu-minuto ikaw'y aking nakikita;

Sa bawat sandali ikawlagi naiisip;

Sa bawat pagsapit ng araw;

Ikaw ang tanging hangad.

Isang iglap lang ng ikaw ay nawala;

Minu-minuto ikaw'y naaalala;

Para bang ang araw ay kay tagal;

Pagka't walang ibang hangad kundi ikaw lang.

Sa pagbago ng panahon ikaw ay hindi malimutan,

Sa isang iglap lang di kita kayang  pakawalan.

Ngunit ang isang iglap ay kusa ng napalitan

Ng pag-ibig na ako lang yata ang nakakaalam.

Masakit sa isip at damdamin,

Na tanggapin ang isang iglap na pag-ibig.

Subalit kung ito'y nakakapagpaligaya,

Ang isang iglap ay parang ilang taon na rin sa'yo sinta.

The Dream

The time has come when a young woman found her lover. She had her dream years and years. She aimed for it night and night - waiting to meet the guy who occupied her  sleepless nights.

After the years of waiting, she promised herself this man will be the father of her future children. The partner of her life, and her companion forever. This made her happy. Her days was complete knowing the one she loves is already beside her.

They really had a happy life until one day, sun didn't shine. It was an unexpected day where the young woman realize the man whom she had have in her existence wasn't real. It was a realization- it was all just a dream. It hurt her much that she wasn't able to deal with it. her parents was so worried. They asked help from other people, from doctors, psychiatrist yet it was too late that the young woman had gone insane.

When the parents had known the story, they tried their best to find the guy that their daughter fell in love with but the guy is already gone. A ghost of the past that their daughter can't accept, that the lover she had in her dreams is just an illusion, not real.
